Resource-Conserving Production
Our production method is resource-conserving and environmentally friendly. Our location in Germany allows us to minimise the CO2 footprint through reduced transport distances. A high proportion of our energy comes from renewable sources and we minimise waste by using recyclable materials and avoiding plastics containing pollutants such as CFCs and heavy metals. We integrate a variable proportion of recycled plastic into armrests, back shells, and seat plates and fully recycle aluminium. Additionally, between 25% and 100% of our steel parts are made from recycled material. Our shipping cartons are FSC certified, meaning they come from sustainable sources. The cardboard can be 100% recycled.
Repair Instead of Disposal
Our design allows products to be disassembled into individual parts and repaired if necessary. This not only promotes sustainability but also minimises the need for new purchases and thus reduces CO2 emissions. By emphasising repair instead of disposal, we actively support the idea of a circular economy and help to reduce waste.
